Under10

Terms of Service

Last updated September 28, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the Under10 app and the website under10.app, published by [FULL NAME], trading as TechLoops, Clermont-Ferrand, France. By creating an account or using Under10 you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use Under10. Section 6 contains additional terms for restaurants that subscribe to Under10 for Restaurants.

2. The service

Under10 is a community map of meals under €10. Prices, opening hours and other information are added by users and restaurants. We do our best to keep them accurate, but we can't guarantee that a price or opening time is correct when you arrive. Always check on site.

Under10 is free for eaters. Restaurants use a paid subscription (section 6). We may add, change or remove features at any time.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 15 years old.
  • Give accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One person, one eater account. Restaurants use a separate restaurant account.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.

4. What you post

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, stories and text you post. By posting, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, resize and share that content inside Under10 and on its website and social accounts, for as long as it is online. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared by others.

You must only post content you have the right to share. You agree not to post:

  • fake spots, fake prices or prices you haven't seen yourself;
  • meals that cost €10 or more presented as under €10;
  • photos or videos of people who didn't agree to be filmed, especially children;
  • spam, advertising for other businesses, or content copied from others;
  • hateful, violent, sexual, illegal or misleading content, or harassment of other users or restaurant staff.

5. Verifications, points and levels

"I was there" verifications must be honest: only verify a price you have actually seen, within 1 km of the spot. Points, levels and badges are for fun. They have no monetary value, can't be exchanged or sold, and may be adjusted or removed if they were obtained by cheating.

6. Restaurants: Under10 for Restaurants

6.1 Who can subscribe

Under10 for Restaurants is a service for professionals. You may only claim a restaurant you own or are authorised to represent. We may ask for proof (for example a Kbis, SIRET or invoice) and may refuse or withdraw a claim.

6.2 What's included

The Official badge, your menu, map price and opening hours, photos, videos and unlimited stories, a weekly boost in Explore and on the map, 90-day statistics, the price suggestions inbox, "Today's special" alerts to people who saved your spot, and multiple locations.

6.3 Price and payment

€19 per month or €190 per year, VAT included. You subscribe inside the Under10 app. Payment is made through your App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google) account, under their terms. The price shown in the app before you confirm is the price you pay; it may vary slightly by country and currency.

6.4 Free trial

New subscriptions include one 7-day free trial. The store keeps your payment method on file. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and the first payment is taken. One trial per restaurant and per store account.

6.5 Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You cancel in your phone's subscription settings: iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Under10 account does not cancel the subscription. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period already paid.

6.6 Refunds

Payments are handled by Apple or Google, so refunds follow their policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple) or in Google Play. We cannot issue refunds for store payments ourselves.

6.7 End of subscription

If a payment fails or your subscription ends, your page loses the Official badge and the owner tools. Your spot stays on the map as a community spot, and eaters can keep adding photos, verifying prices and liking it. You can subscribe again at any time in the app to get your page back.

6.8 Price changes

We may change prices. Apple or Google will tell you before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.

6.9 Your obligations

Your menu, prices and opening hours must be accurate and kept up to date. The map only shows restaurants whose map price is under €10. You can't delete community photos, likes or verifications, but you can report content that breaks these terms.

6.10 Boosts and Sponsored content

Boosted spots are always labelled Sponsored. Paying never changes prices, verifications or likes.

6.11 Withdrawal

Because Under10 for Restaurants is sold to professionals, the 14-day consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. The 7-day free trial lets you try the service before paying.

6.12 Removal of the Official badge

We may remove the Official badge if the information on your page is repeatedly false, if the claim was not legitimate, or if you seriously break these terms. In that case, cancel your subscription in the store; refunds follow Apple's or Google's policies.

7. Moderation

Anyone can report a spot, photo, video, story or user. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, with or without notice. If you think we made a mistake, write to support@under10.app.

8. Liability

Under10 is provided "as is". We are not responsible for the food, service, prices or hygiene of restaurants listed in the app, nor for content posted by users. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to direct damage caused by our own fault and, for restaurants, to the amount paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under French and EU law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; if the change is important we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Under10 after the change means you accept it. You can stop using Under10 and delete your account at any time.

10. App stores

If you downloaded Under10 from the App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, but their own terms also apply to your use of their stores and payments.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the problem. Consumers can also use a free consumer mediator: [MEDIATOR NAME AND WEBSITE]. For consumers, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction; for professionals, the courts of Clermont-Ferrand.
